If they got coaching carousel could they just pay the coaches to put them in the game? Would they have to negotiate with each coach individually or is there some sort of coaching union or something they could just sign the rights to use?

Ok hopefully this will shed a bit of light for those who didn't hear of it or forgot about it.

The reason that EVERYONE (on here, on PastaPadre, and NCAA Strategies) is clamoring for Coaching Carousel is because it's (and AD mode) the only feature that hasn't been confirmed from the leaked survey from last November on PP.

Here are the confirmed features for NCAA (or Madden) leaked from that survey:
1. Locomotion
2. 120 Ways to win combines about 3-4 features from the list
3. ESPN Presentation
4. 30+ team specific entrances
5. Signature coaching plays relayed to you over the headset (Madden)
6. Streamlined play calling (Madden)

Here are the features that have NOT yet been confirmed:
1. Coaching Carousel
2. AD mode w/ Stadium Builder
3. Play from QB point of view
4. Active real-life coaches and coordinators on the sidelines

In the survey it states "at the end of the season, if they (coach) leave then their play style leaves with them and you have to hire quick from the pool of coaches to ensure good recruiting". So to me these recruiting tweaks HAVE to tie into this bigger system or it's just a slap in the face to all of us gamers.

I mean imagine you're playing with Kent State you’ve built a quality program, your coach leaves and you're struggling to sign top-notch coaches and you're left with John Thompson (former UF coordinator and ECU coach). That would be awesome.

don't need to. Just allow us to edit the names much like the players. You may already be able to do this now, never checked on next gen.

you can it'd be good if they allowed us to do it outside of dynasty though so it could be saved with roster file and shared

Some of you guys are making the implementation of a Coaching Carousel sound waaaaaaaaaaaaay more complicated than it is.

College Hoops 2k series did it..and did it extremely well.

"Well, what good is it if you don't have the real coaches?"....because you can EDIT THE COACHES.

Just like the roster, you can edit all the coaches to be the real coaches with real coaching tendencies then save the file. It's already been DONE on College Hoops 2k8.

In another surprising move, Purdue has managed to lure Bob Stoops away from Oklahoma.

And in the real shocker, Rich Rodriguez lands of all places at Penn State to replace the now-retired Joe Paterno.

Now let's cut to five years later ...

Michigan = Florida
Penn State = West Virginia (RichRod era)
Ohio State = 6-6 type team
Texas A&M = Ohio State
Purdue = three straight conference titles, perennial top 5

Obvious just a quick off-the-top-of-my-head example, but that would be the idea, and, imo, it would be awesome.
I followed your example the whole way and agree with you that coaching changes could be done and it would be neat to see. It is not that important to see why a coach left a school, but the fact that he did leave/retire/pass away/etc. I think it would add an element to the game, if it was connected to their own unique styles. Give them fake names like players with the ability to change their name or not change their name, would you not know who they were anyway?

I sincerely hope there not done for offline dynasty either. Because if a coaching carousel is not in, I will be greatly dissapointed. I've pretty much given up on an Athletic Director mode making it's debut, but I am all for EA to give me a shocking announcement announcing it's arrival! I also hope they get updated Dynasty presentation is as well.
