because i think its horrible. lol

Departures: McNabb, Westbrook (missed 8 games), Kevin Curtis (missed 13 games), Reggie Brown (9 catches in 2009), Shawn Andrews (not healthy past 2 years), Jason Babin, Darren Howard (33 years old), Chris Clemons (situational player), Will Witherspoon (Great player, didnt agree w/ release), Chris Gocong (more of a 3-4 linebacker; wrong defense), Sheldon Brown (great Eagle, didnt agree with trade), Sean Jones.

Arrivals: Mike Bell (powerback, change-up to McCoy), Hank Baskett (Great Special Teams player, forget the SB), Darryl Tapp (Good pass rusher, wasnt used at all by Jim Mora jr.), Brandon Graham (high expectations), Ernie Sims (Great OLB, makes plays), Alex Hall (DE/OLB. Gocong-like), Trevard Lindley (impressed in this weeks OTAs), Marlin Jackson (out for the season), Nate Allen (Starting FS).

Didnt include other draft picks.

The only Major losses we had were McNabb, Will Witherspoon and Sheldon Brown.
Eagles expect that Kolb will do fine (i do as well). Ernie Sims is a great addition at linebacker and people are forgeting that Stewart Bradley is returning this season. Ellis Hobbs, Joselio Hanson and others are battleling for the left CB spot (Hobbs expected to start, Hanson will be Nickle).
Our rating is right b/c we lost too many proven players and now have alot of unknowns

Re: Madden NFL 11 Team Ratings Revealed

Lol. The homerism REALLY needs to stop, lol. I think the Seahawks rating is about right. Even though they improved A LOT this offreason with the additions of Leon Washington, Russel Okung, and Earl Thomas via the Draft, Walter Jones retiring WILL hurt the offensive line (which would've played subpar anyway), unless Okung comes around quickly. Plus, there's a lot up in the air regarding Matt Hasselbeck's health, and I ain't sold on Charlie Whithurst at all. Speaking of offense, Housh isn't the #1 reciever like his contract might suggest, and Deon Branch WILL get injured again this year (he ain't all that good anyway. He's just a waste of space). And unless Lofa Tatupu and Marcus Trufant stay healthy, the defense will suffer. IMO, it's San Francisco's division to lose. Now, will they lose it? Yes...

umm as for the WR ... lets see ... Boldin and Mason vs ... Holmes, Edwards, Cotchery, Clowney, and probably smith ... i think i'll take 4or 5 over 2 ppl any day...

Ravens dline is better ... but the Jets secondary is better by far ... one player in the 2ndary doesn't make a 2ndary good ...

an i alrdy debated about the Lb's ... Ray lewis is only one person ... the rookie is unproven .. Johnson is a flag magnet ...
Ravens have better younger OTs and a Pro Bowl calibur G and a Pro Bowl veteran C in Matt Birk. And Richardson may be good, but McClain is the reigning top FB 2 years in a row.

Also since when have Clowney and Smith been relevant at all? Lets look at the receivers numbers from last year:

Holmes: 79 Receptions, 1,248 Yards, 5 TDs
Cotchery last year: 57 Receptions, 871 Yards, 3 TDs
Edwards last year: 35 Receptions, 541 Yards, 4 TDs
Clowney last year: 14 Receptions, 191 Yards, 1 TD
Smith last year: 2 Receptions, 18 yards, 0 TDs

Boldin: 84 Receptions, 1,024 Yards, 4 TDs
Mason: 73 Receptions, 1,028 Yards, 7 TDs
Clayton: 34 Receptions, 480 Yards, 2 TDs
Washington: 34 Receptions, 431 Yards, 2 TDs
Williams: 8 Receptions, 142 Yards, 1 TD

Ravens have 2 WRs that are trustworthy for around 70 catches,1000 yards and 5 TDs a season and another 2 that can got 500 yards. Then if you add in what the halfbacks can do:

Rice: 78 Receptions, 702 Yards, 1 TD

Here, I'll even throw in the TEs

Heap: 53 Receptions, 593 Yards, 6 TDs
Keller: 46 Receptions, 522 Yards, 2 TDs

This isnt even counting the fact that we now have depth at TE and can sub heap in and out therefore keeping him healthy the entire season. Not even counting the fact that Flacco is a much better QB.

But according to you, somehow Cotchery, Clowney and Brad Smith (a QB turned WR) are better. lol

And Ray Lewis may be only "one person" (even though he's one of the best MLBs in the game), but he's a LEADER on defense, one of the SMARTEST LBs in the game and is still highly productive. Johnson may be a "flag magnet" (lol), but last year he had 50 Tackles, 6 Sacks, 2 Ints and a FF. And need I forget Suggs?

And I won't lie, the Jets CBs are way better, but the rest of the ravens defense as a whole is better.

ok ... Boldin's Qb was Kurt Warner IMO Top 5 Qbs last year .. an with Larry on the other side of field DOUBLE TEAMED ... wha do u expect?.. i no i expect a whole lot outta him .... in no way m i saying he's bad but now that he's the #1 Wr ... no way life is gonna be as Ez as it was Standing across the field from in some opinions the best Wr in the game ...

but iono if u seen the end of last season were Every Wr i named played a HUGE part in the reason the Jets did wha they did .. at the beginning of the season Edwards played for a team in which one of there Qb's completed less then 5 passes in which he started n ... but once he went to the Jets he looked good again ... Smith was a wildcat/kick returner maybe bringing nothing to the Wr's position but he brought something to the team nonetheless ... whereas Clayton does noting but drop key passes up in foxborgh to lose y'all the game ... an Washington is actually a good Wr i like him but he only gets passes on 3rd down ... for some odd reason ....

Te's r better hence the reason i didn't bring them up Keller is young an although ppl lost faith in Heap i still believe he's good ... an don't talk about the rest of the tight ends last year y'all brought in LJ Smith thinking he was gonna be dominant on the other side of Heap in the 2 Te formation an he was trash ... so the young Te's y'all jus got will actually have to do something for me to think there good ...

and don't bring Flacco into this cause he went from throwing deep passes at the beginning against the bad Def to dumping the ball of every play to Ray rice ... He folds in Key games ... for some reason he balls up every time he sees the blitzer coming around the corner for him ... but thats a whole diff subject ...

but back to the line ... you to no that the jets had 3 Off linemen to goto the pro bowl last year right?..

Cardinals rating is just about right maybe a one point increase. Did anyone catch the new camera angle on the FG attempts, it looked like a over the shoulder cam, also it looks like the sprint overlay has been replaced with a Verizon overlay.

Re: Madden NFL 11 Team Ratings Revealed

Yeah Boldin had life easier with Fitz getting doubled on the other end, but how do you think teams are going to react when they have to worry about Mason, Head AND Rice coming out of the backfield? There just isn't enough guys to cover everyone. And nobody thought LJ Smith would be good, they brought him in because we literally had no type of depth at TE at all.

And Flacco is maturing QUICKLY. Last year he drastically cut down on alot of things he did his rookie season. Even so, he still threw for 3,600 yards last season, with Boldin and more depth at TE he can get 4,000 easy. There's just way too many recieving options for Flacco now. He can go to Boldin or Mason, target Heap or Dickson/Pitta, look at Clayton or Stallworth in the slot or even dump out to Rice or McClain. There's just too many guys with great hands running around that someone's going to be open.

And I think I might give you O-Line even though Grubbs is one of the best guards in the league and Gaither and Oher are probably the youngest and best bookends in the league. I'm calling it right now though. Grubbs and either Gaither or Oher make Pro Bowl. Gaither would have made it last season if he weren't injured for 5 games. It's a shame Oher didn't make it since he dominated at both RT AND LT effortlessly when needed.
