I don't know if others have read this but here is a cool little interview with Marcus about why he left.. http://www.pastapadre.com/2010/03/12...to-thq-for-svr
Ya I hear you, I wonder if its real-time player physics and ball or without ball, because if you have real-time shooting physics, that's going to be hard to gauge with a little analog stick.

Would have to let the R-stick go to neutral before executing a shot though? I'm not sure that method would be seamless.

If you're mid-dribble move (the R-stick is pressed in any direction) and you hit the trigger, what happens? That could get messy.

Re: NBA Elite?

Let's WAIT until some vids, or at least some real details come through.

We don't know how extensive these so called real time physics will actually be.

You only have to think way back to the first PS1 Live game where EA said the models were V-Polys, virtual polygons or where they said for one early Live that they were using Mo-Cap but actually had drawn half the animations.

Seriously, this many pages of talk this early is not needed.

If there was an article posted, then it is not too early to discuss. This is a message board

I dont understand that line of thinking at all

Had no idea Live 10 would be my last nba live purchase... Live had a nice run after the likes of lakers vs celtics, bulls vs lakers, bulls vs blazers, nba showtime... live 95- 99 were the best. 2k came along and took the title in my eyes up until last years games as far as im concerned. I thought Live 10 was a very good game, the name change will help EA's sales... but consumers shouldn't really care. I may still call it Live 11.

What I was mainly referring to was all the talk and speculation on the real time physics.

We don't know what engine, we don't know if it's ball only or players, we don't anything.

A lot of good devs? Admittedly I haven't been following the NBA Live departures as closely as others so I've only heard about Mike and Marcus leaving. Who else has left?
