Keeping the focus on the franchise is key. Their 'story' engine (really commentary engine) needs to be built around stats, not around specific players, which is what their comparison examples appear to do. Don't get me wrong, those will be great color commentary in addition to the dynamic announcing, but it in no way can it be the core.

I'd like to see towels waving in Pittsburgh... especially during the playoffs... in the snow. I still get goosebumps whenever I see that.

Standard stadium music is a long time a-comin'. It should fit in very well. Glad to see the audio improvements.

Not sure if this was mentioned but didn't we have specific stadium sounds in previous next gen Maddens? And weren't they taken away last year? I'm glad to see them back and upgraded but they shouldn't be advertised and something new to Madden.

how about more than two broadcasters, that don't say the exact same lines, that would make the commentary more versatile.

A question that just occurred to me is whether EA has the rights to these songs or just Madden. Basically, can NBA Live or other EA Sports games use Crazy Train or Zombie Nation if they want to?

yeah, Madden just get the right to use it in their game. They dont essentially "own" the song or anything like that.

same thing with movies. whenever you hear any song in a movie, the movie makers licensed the song for that movie. If they make another movie, and want that song again, they have to relicense it for the new movie.
