Should GW3 have a God Cam??

The FACT is this game is going for a simulation style of football... God cam DOES NOT provide this sensation. That is a pure FACT plain and simple.

Madden isnt about simulation though they are about arcade. That is whey they dont use physics in their games also.
OK, you win, I'm not arguing anymore.

*shrug*
It is a better representation of football than Madden. A QB cannot see the whole field in real life and shouldnt be able to in a game.

I wish people would get off of their "this camera is for sim guys" high horse because your argument is totally invalid. You are playing a video game, so there will always be aspects about the game that aren't 100% like "real life" so that the game remains playable and fun. As I stated numerous times: "In real life receivers don't glow red when I look at them and my plays don't appear on the field when I push the right bumper." So please stop trying to take shots at others by acting like people who like this ignorantly named "God cam" are any less sim/hardcore than you are.

A game or gameplay style being "simulation" does not hinge on the camera being a certain way, there are alot of other factors that go in to making a game "simulation", and anyone who believes otherwise is borderline delusional. I guess I'm not a "sim player" and NBA 2K10 is not a "sim" basketball game because I play on the side camera instead of the one that goes up and down.....stop it people, please.

You can not deny that the Madden view gives the user an advantage that they really shouldn't have. Yeah, it's a game, and there's always going to be things that aren't exactly real - but being forced to actually go through progressions and LOOK AT YOUR RECEIVER is not a bad thing. Of course, when EA tried to make people do that, everyone just bitched about the flashlight effect. This camera does what the vision cone was intended to do, in a way that doesn't make it look cheesy. It actually makes playing QB a challenge instead of a game of just hit the button when a receiver is open. When I can complete 75% of my passes in Madden with JaMarcus Russell, something is too easy.

I just think it's more about controlling a player on the field and less about strategy overall. That's fine. That's great for a video game experience, but it's not a strategic football experience in my opinion. To each their own. I'd love to see future versions of this game as the interactions are unparalleled.
OH ok so because you cant see the whole field there is no strategy involved...

I'm personally sick of the 'SIM' talk. Madden and APF and Backbreaker can all be sim. Both have sim aspects over the other, both have non-sim aspects. The way the game is played (or allows to be played) is what makes something sim. You can be un-sim in any of them by exploiting, and there will be BB exploits, its just a matter of time till someone finds money plays, throws, etc...

I'm not going to confirm or deny anything, I'm not arguing about this anymore. I feel that people should have choices. Period. Plain and simple. The lack of camera choices will hurt this game tremendously.

You know what I mean, you'll never see my point and vice versa, so at some point you gotta cut it off
