would I?,

i am actually hopefull 2wards ncaa11 this yr, so i think unless that game gets terrible feedback that will prolly be where my money would go if i had to pick just 1.

that being said i have no allegiences to noone as far as my money goes...i will buy whatever game i honestly feel is the best game for the value of my money...its the reason i purchased ncaa09 over madden but purchased madden10 over ncaa10...or why after yrs of playing nba live i left for nba2k.

so for me i like i said earlier i think that backbreaker is what superstar mode should be like, and if at some point the game dropped to like $20-30 i would give it a shot..(there is no franchise mode so cant see dropping $60)..but lets say that i get the game at some point and really like it, and the next installment of backbreak improved upon this version as far as gameplay and features go...then who knows what could happen..

as of this moment in time i view this game as a possible alternative football gaming experience to ncaa or madden, as i think is more superstar or road to glory mode than a full fledged football simulator....however, like i said im always gonna be where i think the best value 4 my money is at...and if at some point in the future thats backbreak...then so be it.

i know this is long winded but i like to answer question thoroughly

edit: this video is superstar mode at its finest:

I would not. [However, I'm getting all 3].

As a previous colleague of mine suggested, BB is what Superstar and Campus Legend should be.

The graphics and interactions are great but its quite lacking in every other area.

Yeah t the one thing that is pissing me off is the roughing the kicker penalties. I've started switching to the closest player when the CPU punts and I pull him back from making the hit. I've stopped a ton of drives only to have them get the ball back on a roughing penalty. Also 5 min quarters would have been nice, 2 is just not enough time to get into the game, other then that LOVE IT!

PS: I've never had so much fun playing defense before, it is awesome in this game. I choose my player before the snap and I stay with him for the entire play, excellent. Can't wait to get the game and put myself in it at MLB.

This is a prefect point, BB tries to put you on the field for every down so play calling is as critical to play execution. Depending on your experience with the sport you might not like it. I played in leagues when I was younger and I am feeling it, but it does not replace Madden.

The ability to option out of a play is well done, though I don't like the playcalling menu, I think its too slow, I would rather be able to see more plays. There are no line stunts on Defense or the ability to change single assignments. There also appears to be no hot routes, so in terms of layers the experience is basic.

The Plays are well executed though and the playbook looks to be deep, not sure if different, but there are lots a plays so that is good. i've played 20 games and I have to say I like the selection.

Game speed is pretty fast, which makes it like real football, you might not be involved in every defensive play, but this is not a bad thing

On Offense there needs to be 2 additions I think. 1. The QB needs some kind of inidcator that he is about to get hammered, maybe a little rumble or something. You have to increase your mental clock - you WILL NOT be sitting back in the pocket or running backwards to perform a pass - make a decision (I like this much)

The runner needs to be able to push off his own men, getting tangled with your boys happens often so for now I try to find the hole and shoot through it.

All in all, I like what I see and am ordering it this week,

BOOM

lol

This game is to complicated to enjoy over a period of time. The angles are not good for offense and defense. I run into the problem trying to avoid a sack and throw the pass I want. So far everything seems to be good except the gameplay.

From what I have researched, and also the videos I have seen I am going to. But it depends on what you want from a Football game. Some love to play with "real" players. I prefer never seeing the same play twice, and true to life physics. But, that is just me.

2. Can we manually reposition defensive lineman prior to the snap? If so where? You know how madden cheats would manually take a right defensive lineman PRIOR to the snap and manually reposition him all the way over to the opposite side, left side of the tv screen to blitz.

3. Can you manually reposition a ton of defensive players PRIOR to the snap to try and nano or borderline nano or more importantly exploit the a.i. of the offensive line like you can in madden?

I'm hoping the answers to all of these questions are no. I have a ps3 so I'm stuck waiting until tuesday. Thanks.
Can anyone confirm that these madden exploits have been eliminated from backbreaker?
