This game is incredible. I love it. So refreshing. I used to play football and this is the real thing. I love the camera it's incredible imo. This is not a video game. This is a simulation. And omg. Why has it taken so long? Thx EA.... But it's here now.

I love how the camera puts you in control of the player you are controlling. please don't change it. It's awesome. you can look around and pan. You have complete control over the player you are controlling. It's different than video game football that has been played yes. But it's so refreshing to me. I haven't messed with it a ton but i'm already getting the hang of having my head on a swivel. It's great.

on offense read the defense before the snap and go through your receivers. look around. you can switch off easy enough and read the rush look around and move in the pocket. same with running backs. read the play look around and follow your blockers. you can pan out before the snap and see the play and where players are lined up.

Re: Backbreaker Demo Available, Post Your Impressions Here

Can someone answer these three questions for us sim gamers who don't want to waste our time having to deal with nanos.

1. Has Backbreaker eliminated nanos or borderline nanos (sacks in 0.5 seconds or sacks in 1 or 1.5 seconds etc.)?

2. Can we manually reposition defensive lineman prior to the snap? If so where? You know how madden cheats would manually take a right defensive lineman PRIOR to the snap and manually reposition him all the way over to the opposite side, left side of the tv screen to blitz.

3. Can you manually reposition a ton of defensive players PRIOR to the snap to try and nano or borderline nano or more importantly exploit the a.i. of the offensive line like you can in madden?

I'm hoping the answers to all of these questions are no. I have a ps3 so I'm stuck waiting until tuesday. Thanks.

On games now-a days, this is pretty much inevitable no matter what you do.

One word "UNBELIEVABLE". I never knew I wanted videogame football to play like this. This game in my opinion is what stick skills and awareness is all about. You have to truly read the defense, anticipate the offense, and just go for broke.

I read through the impressions of players I share similar football interests with and just like many of them I am in pigskin heaven.

It is kind of sad, but subliminally (sp), most of the peeps are complaining its not like the other game they complain about daily. It's people can no longer handle change or a learning curve. I hope by June 1st you all see the light. This game is fantastic for a first time sim football game.

This game has a lot going for it graphically, but because of the camera it's very difficult to see how good the Euphoria engine works in a football game.

This first person never works in sports games especially football games because "feel" and peripheral vision are extremely important. Without that the camera is useless IMO.

I give them credit though, they went out and tried something completely fresh. A couple of additions and the game could be enjoyable.
Exactly.

Also, unless you watch the replays every time you miss 90% of what the Euphoria engine is capable of. As I said in another thread, I'm pretty bummed because other than the camera view this game is awsome. However, the camera view is something I don't think I can get beyond.
