The demo is just FUN. Once you get used to it. Pretty damn fun.

After another game and some tackle alley, I can't help thinking that the camera might be a detriment to this game.

Thanks 360 users for all of this info and videos! I've been following this game since it was announced a couple years ago. I can't wait for the ps3 release on Tuesday, but hopefully I can play it tonight at a friend's house. I really do hope the physics change the way of sports games (taking I believe nhl 11 is doing real time physics?). Hopefully this game doesn't make me spoiled for it's physics engine, so when I want to play ncaa this year with all of it's great upgrades, hopefully I won't be too let down.

One problem that immediately stood out to me is the camera for passing is too restrictive. They should have zoomed it out a lot and after the catch or when the QB starts running zoom it back in. Same with defense.

There is actually a alternate controller configuration that is closer to what you would see in Madden as well at least for passing.

I just don't understand people dismissing the control scheme and camera before they even have a chance to get used them. Reminds me of how I used to be food, unwilling to try anything new. When started to try some new things, I actually liked them.

they have button configs for all aspects of the game not just passing.

you have to go into controller options, and hit the x. if you want to change to the ball carrier options just flip the stick to the right/left and the category will change.

Re: Backbreaker Demo Available, Post Your Impressions Here

Overall I am pretty impressed and will be picking this up eventually, I've only played 2 games so far and the practice drills.

PROS:
-Blocking and tackling seem as awesome as promised
-I really like how they handled the QB looking at different receivers
-Graphics / Art Style look really good, and even better in motion
-Seems like it plays a solid game of football in all phases (offense, defense, special teams)

CONS:
-Not really a fan of the tank-like controls for running, wish players controlled more freely
-Instant replays in the demo are terrible, hopefully the retail game has more options
-Presentation is as crappy as Madden
-Same music on the kickoff will get old pretty quick
-Runningback jukes look pretty stupid
-CPU pass defense logic isn't too good

I may have come off as a bit critical, but despite the CONS I listed, I like how the game plays and am looking forward to digging into it deeper once I clear out my backlog of other great games. One thing is for sure though, this beats the **** of of All-Pro Football by a country mile.

1) There will be a lot more options in the final build for replays.

2) You can customize your music on the final build.

3) I think they look great, but you're entitled to your opinion.

4) Play against Indianapolis on pro/hard and tell me they're easy. There is also something called "Form" in the final build which lets you handicap if things are too easy.
