[quote=ped3328;2041079686]Knight said MLB rosters would reflect opening day. And that's fine with me. All we need to do is update them ourselves. We have to do our share too. There are many sources of information re player movements on Internet. It's all there. Come on, give the guy a breaqk, otherwise V2 will be further delayed and understandably so. The game itself has all the tools at our disposal, including live weekly roster updates. For those who don't have Internet, look up the box scores in the newspapers. The Sporting News for one is a great source of information. Be creative a bit. Why should we always have to wait for others to do the work.[/QUOTE

Umm I think you are totaly wrong. Yes the roster will reflect opening day but I swear on my life that he is making the moves to get the most realistic rosters to date.

Congratulations. You are dead.

How would rosters reflect opening day AND have up to date moves, anyway?

Thanks Knight... oh wait... you're not Knight, unless he morphed into a lackluster comedian doing a Lewis Black shtick

You did remind me that Medlens already in the game and Knight won't edit his potential, so thanks lol

Heyward's speed though?

After that triple vs. the Reds I wonder if his speed needs to be in the 70 to 80 range. I had him at 70 on my roster, but after a few games I upped it to 75. After all of his late game heroics so far I made his clutch rating an 85. I am a braves fan, but I am fair. I have his plate vision a 60 and his discipline an 80.

Saying all that, I am not a guru. When in doubt I use baseball cube.

I just wanted to show my hatred for the braves and have my answer reflect your question for what it was; dumb.

I remember Knight being asked that before and him responding a 1 so I actually gave you some hope.

I gather Knight is fixing portraits of faked AAA AA and A players. While he's at it, rosters of MINOR LEAGUE PLAYERS are also updated based on current rosters of same. MAJOR LEAGUE PLAYERS rosters (provided by SCEA) are as per opening day. In other words, MAJOR LEAGUE ROSTERS will be those of April 5th and MINOR LEAGUE batting lineups and pitching rotations will be updated as he does same. At least that's my understanding. Once you have downloaded Knight's V2 version, you will have to update MAJOR LEAGUE rosters manually to reflect the latest moves since opening day (only for MAJOR LEAGUE rosters. If you downloaded V2 and you then download the SCEA live rosters online (say next Monday) you're back to square one : you've got the latest MAJOR LEAGUE lineups and pitching rotations OK but the MNOR LEAGUE teams (except fot the odd players here and there) will again consist of faked players again.

Re: MLB '10: The Show Rosters: OS Full Minors V.1

Haha....let me clear it up.
Both are right actually.......in a way.
I'm leaving the MLB roster as per Opening Day.
I'm updating the minor league rosters to reflect any of those moves...but the biggest change is making sure that all the players in v1 are at least playing both in the system somewhere and on the correct team. In that case...there were a LOT of additions/subtractions and moves. Aaron Miles is a good example of this....he was on one team in v1 as a NRI......since then he has signed with another team. He is on his new team.
I did leave prospects(from 1-30) on the set even if they haven't played in 2010 yet due to injury(we're not just simulating this year, right?!)
Now....dropping players that are SCEA players is just not possible right now(no room to move anyone)....they are on their previous teams Single A.
If it was a player that we created...he will be changed.

Hope this helps!

M.K.
