In reference to my question two posts up, it seems that this would be able to be used with an existing franchise, the only one that makes me wonder is the pitcher potential one.

^^^^ Maybe this is what I am wondering about. It seems five years into a franchise of RTTS guys like Lincecum will have gaps of three to five years where they didn't pitch because no one signed them. This and the SB in RTTS issue were by biggest worries.
