During one practice, players debated how Madden/NCAA portray the REALISM of the game and one player who just got drafted in the top 15 of this years draft said, "If you want realism, then put the pads on and play, otherwise let the game be what it is, a video game".

I came from the generation of "10-yard Fight", so I play the game for what it is, entertainment. So I enjoy football games from where they came from and enjoy those aspects of the game that do happen in real liffe.

The game is comming along great and I'm looking forward to some football.

"Glad they included a speed slider. I hope other similiar sliders can be included to allow greater customization"
Bill Walsh just called, he said he has a video game that you would enjoy

I didn't think the replay was horrible.... but I personally want more realsitic camera views that we see on TV, and camera veiws on ESPN just can't get that close to a player.

On a side not, that swat animation and all looked decent.

OMG how many times does this have to be said? ESPN cameras can absolutely get as close to any player on the field that they want. They don't need cameras on the sidelines or in the ground or any of this other nonsense. they have some of the most powerful zoom lenses around their cameras can get close ups from the nose bleed seats. Have any of you ever been to a televised game? have you seen the cameras they use to shoot big time sports? they're that big for a reason!
