Madden NFL 11 First Look Video Preview

Is there anything new in this video? I mean aside from a couple uber-brief clips of some Steeler cut-scenes, I really didn't see much aside from the same recycled clips we've seen for over a month.

It looks like locomotion works in the initial run from the hand off, but when a guy is in full stride he seems to not lose speed after making a cut or move. It looks like a set speed is obtained and then maintains itself, irrespective of the player movement.

Ok. noticed something. maybe important:

At :30 the Patriots are in Singleback. Welker is in the slot. GameFlow is being used.

What does this mean? Why is Welker in the slot? Wouldn't he have to be 3rd on the depth chart for this to occur? Or is some type of package being used?

Just trying to figure out why he'd be in the slot (which he should IRL) when in the game he'd be out wide since he's the #2 WR.

I'd seriously would've bet real money that was Madden 10. I think I'm just burned out, I just don't get it anymore.

Nothing new there, some formation in Patriots playbook have Welker in the slot..
