I agree. Obviously when you lose a guy, you wonder where those ideas are going to come from to bring it to that next level and make an excellent game. But is Mike Wang the only smart guy who knows how to make basketball games on the planet? That's pretty sad if that's the case. If it is why don't I have a job? Why doesn't EA hire me right now and pay me millions of dollars? lol... The ideas are going to come from a team of people. It's the overall dedication and vision and direction I worry about. Because we don't really know right now. What was the last thing we heard from EA about this game? I'm assuming they are hard at work and I guess we will find out what that direction is?

IMO and no disrespect to the Live team but the DNA crap sucks big time.

I'd start by getting rid of it or either have some of the people actually observe it before releasing the damn product.

I've been highly dissapointed in that feature the last 2 years and it's one of the main reasons I've fallen out of love with the NBA Live series.

You could actually get better gameplay in Live 09 and 10 simply by just allowing the players to function on ratings alone without DNA.

Disagree.

I think DNA is terrific, it needs to be tweaked to allow the CPU to not be such a slave to it...and play more organically.

As it is now, DNA really shines in user vs user games, but causes some issues in single player modes.

And please, people..enough with the Mike Wang thing...its way overblown.

Many here on this forum have stated correctly that there were things in Live 09 that were well done, that were removed from the game this year.

That is precisely why it's need to go IMO

Because it does nothing right for the CPU. I don't care about head to head play because i don't have time or play online much at all.

I'm only worried about how the CPU plays and right now DNA is a mess and it has been a mess for 2 years.

They need to either scrap it or lock 5 guys in a room before dropping the product and have them actually test it for once. I don't they even sit around and observe the players and how they react on the floor...

Playmakers is right. DNA is not working, especially with the current ratings system and lack of player animations per player. Big men taking fadeaways after step back crossovers

This is the biggest flaw of live10, the big man game just isn't right... from post play to fadeaways its just plain horrible

Couple things i expected to be on this list that weren't:

1 - Arena Atmosphere (crowd sounds, mvp chants, player boos, sound effects) were all spot on...perfectly done

2 - Regular Season-Playoffs-Finals Atmosphere option. Really adds to the gameplay

After being spoiled by these things, and the things on the list, it's been physically impossible for me to play nba 2k10. I tried to give it a chance and look past it but it always stuck out to me and took me back to live.

That said, Live just needs to add depth as i've seen other people suggest. More contact animations, charge animations, alley-oops, just adding more variety and depth to the animations in general. Dynasty mode needs more attention, starting with a better player cap and the ability to create custom draft classes. Most people i know play one year and thats it because they hate the random generated rookies.

I'd buy the game solely for custom music, btw
