Looks pretty cool overall, just over 3 weeks until release, demo can't get here quick enough.
No disrespect but their feet got tangled during the block..watch it again.. Thats how detailed and physics based this really is!!

Its impressive, no doubt.. These brits have hit on something.. taking a scientific program for testing physical movements of animals and applying it to a football game??? BRILLIANT!!

If that same play happens in ncaa 10 or Madden 10, their legs would pass right thru each other with no effect..( we ALL know this)

I watch this video looking for non-reactions and i can't find one.. I can't see a spot when two players collide big or small with no physical reaction..pretty realistic ..

One knock is that i don't like the running animations, they don't take full strides, they take small choppy steps, looks wrong..either that or their legs are moving too fast?

Yes, this has been gone over in the thread, as you surely got to sometime during your 5 straight replies (there's a multiquote btw). The amazing physics appear to allow him to get his foot stepped on, as the runner then clips through his leg from the bottom of his foot to almost his knee with the center of his foot.

It's very debatable whether any clipping actually occurs or if it's just from the angle of the play. I'll just say I disagree with your assessment and several others have as well.

That said, I still don't get how you simply shrug off a dude getting his foot stepped on and getting tripped! No one can deny that happened and no canned animation game has ever had anything but clipping occur in that situation before.

Re: Backbreaker Video: Running Game Tutorial

Actually I'm the first person in the thread that suggested that as the reason for why he fell down, and added (which is awesome) after it.

I also posted this picture... which people apparently still don't see clipping in (runner's left foot), or blame the camera view.

Re: Backbreaker Video: Running Game Tutorial

There have been plenty of videos to show clipping, this isn't the first. At least it shall be minimal.
