NCAA Football 11 Blog: Pregame Entrances

Where are you getting I am not happy? Does posting, "I am glad there in..." 10 times = not being happy? I am very happy this is in, but I want them to be authentic.

From you guys arguing, I get that you all are happy and don't want the entrances to improve at all. Thats just stupid if you ask me.

People get upset that the authentic ESPN presentation isn't authentic because they use unrealistic replay angles and people praise them for saying that. But I get bashed repeatedly for pointing out EA's mistakes in the authentic team entrances? Is that right?

You people need to get it through your head that I am glad to finally see these, but when they are going to call them authentic, I expect them to be authentic. Like I said before, when they are only going to do 1/4 of the teams in the game, i expect them to be very close to the real thing, yet we have Iowa running and not walking and we have Sebastian running with a flag which doesn't happen and we have him running with a flag we don't even use in our real entrance.

I use those two teams because i know their entrances well and I know from the blog they are wrong. If I knew about all the other teams' entrances from the video and saw they were wrong, I would be using them as examples too.

I think EA says "authentic" because "close to the real the real thing" doesn't sound as good.I mean technically Sebastian leads Miami out right ? And Notre Dame,Tennessee, and Clemson do touch something before taking the field right? I'm just saying let's notread too much into "authentic". ESPN Presentation will be there trust me. NCAA Basketball did a great job and I think NCAA Football will be twice as good. Let's just give the game a chance first. I hear the arguments and I feel you guys. I'm just saying let's not forget why we buy games. They make us happy. Even if Iowa's entrance is wrong ,will the game not be fun? Be easy people.

No doubt the game will be fin and this will add to my enjoyment. But pre-game entrances are big on my list. I don't care much for the equipment and things of that nature, but I love atmosphere and presentation. So outside this new locomotion system, the entrances and ESPN presentation are my two biggest features in the game and I will be critiquing until its as good as EA can do.

LMAO!!!! I can't believe people are complaining about Sebastian carrying an American flag when the fans in the seats still look like 4-bit ATARI characters. I mean, come on, people! There is WAYYY more important stuff to worry about: Like the fact that not every team has bleachers in their real stadiums, yet every stadium in the game has bleacher seating. I know that Notre Dame Stadium has a few rows of premium seats along the two sidelines that are yellow, but that isn't in the game. They also have a flagpole that is missing as well. And ND also has their band on the field right off the sidelines and behind the endzone, and that isn't there. I mean, literally hundreds of other things they need to fix first, before we worry about "Ooooh, he's carrying an American flag, not a Miami flag. *sob*"

no, i think you got it wrong, we're all happy with the fact that entrances are back and that they look pretty realistic for the most part.

But we aren't going to sit here and complain about something so minor before we even have had a chance to see and play the game.

Minor to you, not some of us. These entrances are big on my list. Over equipment and dreads. I want to see them correct, yet they got my teams wrong to a good degree so I am willing to bet they got others too and they did with Iowa. That 2 wrong entrances out of the select few we've been shown. Now, Iowa's may be generic, but they showed it in the video, so I am going with the authentic side of the argument for them right now until proven otherwise by EA.

If EA is going to add authentic entrances, than like I've said a thousand times already, I want them to be as authentic as possible. I don't want to see Sebastian carrying a flag when he doesn't in real life. To make things worse, its a flag that we don't use in our entrance. He hasn't carried the American flag or any flag for a few years. EA should have noticed that easily. They should have also noticed that Iowa doesn't run on to the field. But from what we've seen, they got both of those wrong. Judging by the blog, we're going to see partial authentic entrances that are half correct and then are EA'd.
