i see at least one or two other players escorting the runningback.. furthermore its a Lineman who is already behind the running back. his escorting duties are no long necessary. the RB has already broken into the secondary.

stop with the mindless hate

i never played 2K5. After seeing the first NFL 2K on dreamcast i was a little turned off. I never gave it a second chance and honestly with madden in those days I was content.

I'm not against it but i'll have to get used to it.

I don't expect the physics in back breaker to be perfect. however football is a game that puts physics on display on every play. Its all about speed and mass. I'm still of the belief that some level of physics can be represented with an animation based system. Euphoria may even be overkill but man does it look great.

With the current tech that is available I can't give my money to a company that doesn't place I high priority on growth in this area.

What if Jurassic Park were done with stop motion animation. as far as in game physics go, that is the comparison I draw between madden and backbreaker.

If you aren't pumped for this game yet, you have no soul.

a game that might revolutionize sports games in the future.....all new Technology for a Football game......customize what ever type of Helmet you want, as well as your endzone logo......and for OFFline games recreate the NFL with FULL rosters...with first names and last names...as well as recreating NFL teams....from colors to almost perfect recreation of NFL Helmets (besides Bengals, Seahawks..but close enough).......heck create other leagues......and for Online games....or online leagues that some would join (by using websites to update stats and rosters for the league) you would have the last names with matching team uniforms and helmets still available......and abbreviated city names.

2 franchise type modes........new control scheme..where timing and physics are taken into account for the outcomes.

I can certainly understand why some would be excited

as far as not having any soul for not having NO interest at ALL.......well, I won't go that far....some are just, different..........and others just lie...lol.

I agree with this....to an extent though, because for me....I'm excited about the stuff we DO know

I'm expecting for things to be missing from this game that I might have a problem with....everything else we do know about it however, I have my hopes up because of that.

Im excited for the game but it needs to have good feel on the sticks. The last review gave me some cold feet, but Im definitley pumped. It looks so damn good in the videos.

Re: Backbreaker Video: Running Game Tutorial

There was no problem with the collision detection on the RB and #74. What happens is that the on the replay, the RB's leg appears to clip through the OL's leg, but in reality, he was next to OL. You can look at the shadows to tell where the players are actually at.
