Yeah, setting your feet seems big in this game, even bigger than in a sim-focused game I won't mention... if you don't get set, it's going to sail. It really makes sense and adds a layer of challenge to the passing game.

At first I was blowing everybody out with the pass but now my QB (Scott Zolak) is getting exposed. I'm throwing a lot of picks now. The game is definitely getting harder as the season progresses. My last 3 games have been nail-biters where a team missed a last second field goal and I won, another where I had to make a defensive stop to win, and another where I had to drive from my own 10 yard line in the final 2 minutes to set up a GW field goal. Still undefeated, but I don't know for how much longer since my receivers keep getting put in the hospital.

Bought this last night and had a lot of fun. I played online but lost 24-0...my controller was a half second behind the action on the screen which is disastrous in Tecmo Bowl when the opponent is running the zig-zag down the field. I am also having a hard time hitting my WR's in stride...only done it once it 3 games.

Overall it's a lot of fun...I'm currently doing the competitive season. It sure brings back a lot of memories!

I've found that if I want to hit a receiver in stride running a go route I wait til he's off the screen before throwing.

Sorry if this was asked already, I'm not downloading until tonight. If you edit the real names in preseason mode do they save when you start season mode (ie are they changed permanently)? Thanks.

Yessir! They change for online and everything. They update as you go, also. This means you don't have to do all teams at once and can get your season started... they'll update as you update them.
