Play Calling sounds a lot like this Gameplan Idea:

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...plan-idea.html

I'm looking forward to seeing how this is implemented.

Also, since NCAA Football has already acknowledged double team blocks, I'm assuming Madden will have the same, and hopefully it will have a workable 3-4 this year.

Everything seems very intriguing. The only thing I'm worried about is the words deeper and franchise mode not being associated with each other in the bullet point.

That is IF(and that is a BIG IF) they actually get them to trigger on a consistent basis. They had it for M10 but, they hardly ever trigger just like a stiff arm animation(you hardly ever see it). I seen more hurdles in one M10 game(not supposed to happen often) than the core things of the game that are supposed to take place on a more consistent basis.

This has me FIRED up! Hopefully it is done correctly and the crowd is AWESOME and the commentary is full of excitement and energy. Its about time they bring some life into this game! I believe the new announcer will be Gus Johnson. Cant get much better then him IMO.

Since they are putting "audio" as one of the back of the box features I have to assume they put a major emphasis on it this year. This will make a world of difference in the immersion factor.
i cannot stand Gus Johnson. I dont need the announcer to be screaming at the top of his lungs like a 12 yr old girl everytime something happens.

"...enhanced online functionality"

I hope that relates to a better and more complete online franchise this year.

I we'll have to wait and see how these features turn out, but thing I can't stand is the sheer arrogance. "Redefine Football"? Really? You're going to do that?

Come on dude, thats the best part about him. He's like the complete opposite of Tom Hammond.

Come to think of it Gus' lines will probably flow really well. It seems as though when he's announcing he says everything individually: "Manning........ in the shotgun......takes the snap...."

And the pitch of his voice increases with every statement....
