Wow.. the screens look ten times better than that video. The players look twice as big in the video than in the screens. Dont try to tell me the screens aren't "shopped" now.

I would say something constructive but everybody pretty much pointed out what needs work...I just dont see them making any changes to those awful looking animations

At least the Madden trailer debuts Thursday night.

I agree, this looks almost the same. I can tell that they added more animations, but they did that last year. It's hard to see locomotion when you've got a close-up and they slow the tape down. In any event, two things still look silly; the way they run and the bulky player models.

Not mad at this point, just so disapointed. Why can't they capture the look and feel of an athlete? MLB the Show does, FIFA does, Madden sorta does, heck NCAA PS2 did. I will still get the game, but I'm just not as excited anymore. I have to say this kinda sucks.

Pre-hype hysteria

Dev diary - blogs etc

Community proclaims beST GamE eVah!!

Subpar videos released

Community proclaims they are alpha builds, not to panic

Same members get the game early and proclaim beST GamE eVah again...released game is nothing like the videos

Hype resumes full throttle

2000 post thread on "When and where did you get it " thread

Rest of forum gets the game and notices game is exact same as video / demo etc that was reported to be " alpha build " video.

The folks that get the game earlier finally admit that maybe in their excitement they exaggerated about the game being improved.

600 post thread on "Bugs and Glitches thread"

500 post thread on " What should be in patch 1 and 2 thread "

200 post thread started on " Wishlist for 2012"

" Im done with EA and their fooball games and not buying another one" threads pop up and get locked "

Repeat cycle and just change the year.

It never fails, every year this is the pattern. Its as sure as the sun rising every morning.
perfectly done. I wish it wasn't true though...

I said the same thing. I really thought I was going to get NCAA this year, but man this looks the same ol same ol EA Sports football. I don't care if it's still early, blah blah blah. Madden won't be any better, smh.

As a football fan, I'm beyond frustrated. For the first time ever this year, I could not decide whether to get 2k or NBA Live. To me that was a very good thing. EA just needs some competition to push them, too bad we won't get it. Instead we have to deal with the mess you see in that video.

Screenshots look like crap too. lol. They making my Tide look bad. For one Ingram doesnt even wear that old box facemask and two the players look robotic. jeez. EA do us all a favor and give up the license for college football.

My thoughts exactly. I'll just leave it at that.

The spin move and the ability to break out of it or something has always been "weird/awkward".
