NBA Playoff Simulation: First Round

The NBA Playoffs are here, and we simmed the first round of the playoffs with NBA 2K and NBA Live to get you ahead of the game on what will happen in the first round. When you add in the insights from our basketball writers TD St. Matthew-Daniel and Dustin Toms, you have a pretty solid preview of what's set to go down in the first round. Check out who is going on and who is going home in our simulation after the jump.

Who are the (enter choice word here) doing the analysis in this column? They both sound like total (enter choice word here). Here's a word of advice for the writers - don't try to analyze unless you actually know what you're talking about, or else you just come off sounding like a couple of (enter choice word here).

The Spurs are old and done? Maybe the core is old, but they're certainly not done. Tim is still solid, Manu has come back to life, and Tony is still young. They'll have a chance as long as the right role players surround them.

As for the Celts, everyone and their grandma knew their window was going to close fast. Geez, where did OS find these analysts? Seriously, none of this contains any insight at all.
