Madden 11 screenshot looks better graphically IMO but Madden 10 actually looks more like McNabb.

What I find strange about these comparison photos is that they tend to take the player at two different angles and two different lighting settings (like how I pointed out in the Boldin thread). It's very easy to open a replay and match an angle, but you'll notice that they're not always the same when they make comparison photos... and the lighting thing (not an issue with this set) is hard to make a mistake with because you can literally see what setting you're choosing prior to hitting the field.

Not calling it a conspiracy (Adem! ), just saying I find it a bit odd.

haha... It was a simple mob hit, damn it.

Anyways, you're right on this and I saw it the moment I opened the thread. Not saying there's no improvement, there is, but the weather conditions chosen and the position of the player with respect to the lighting is set up to highlight the improvements.

Meh, it's marketing. Doesn't bother me.

I did feel a little bit sorry for Ronnie Morales on Thursday. Guy was just under siege, and he's sitting there thinking, "Dude! I'm just marketing! I don't control gameplay!" Such a juxtaposition. He handled it in stride, but you could tell he was uncomfortable.

Graphics have never been Madden's problem imo. Screens look good as usual.

The lighting in 11 is better so is some detail but the graphics look generally the same.

I have been MIA for awhile, but is that time of the year again when I start to get sucked in. You can't tell from this particular pic, but I just saw one where they have vastly improved the collar region and NFL logo. This is something I mentioned to Michael Young last year and I am pleased to see work being done on it.

MY did a great job with Madden and I love to see the continued improvement even when you think there is little room to improve. Does anyone know if he is still on Madden? I believe I heard that he was on NCAA now, which judging by how much that game has improved he has begun to work his magic over there. I was just curious to see who I should send my thanks to, and sorry if this has already been pointed out.

compared to the other sports games these past few years, imo yes it has been a problem....MLB The Show, NHL, NBA2K, Fifa, PES all have looked better than Madden...

sure Madden looked nice in screen shots...but after Madden 07, they did not look nice anymore on the field during gameplay....only recently in Madden 10 did they seem to improve...mainly because the EA Tiburon did a good job of capturing the colors of each football setting for various stadiums.

now from that one new screen shot it seems like they have improved on the lighting dramatically.....but we will have to wait to see gameplay video.

I'll say this though...that short clip of NCAA that has been shown, seemed to show the improved lighting during gameplay...so I expect the same from Madden.

One is in the shade and the other is in the sunlight. Not really a fare comparison.
