NCAA 11 screen shots still display better graphics, this image just looks brighter and shinier than Madden 10 that had a lower contrast.

I don't know, the screens should have been taken under identical lighting conditions rather than have the 10 pic being at night or overcast and the 11 pic being in bright sunlight. It's really hard to say what differences are real and what differences are merely an artifact of the different lighting conditions. Also, unlike real life, I don't tend to nitpick over every trivial little detail in games.

He looks more life like, and the jerseys look like they'll move like NBA 2K, looking at the ripples on the shoulder. Let's see the sidelines, let's see the assistant coaches the bench players, the cheerleaders, the press box, camera crews, half-time reporters, and whatnot.

Who cares about this? Really...

Franchise Mode is in need of MAJOR improvements and we are worrying about shadows on the faces of QBs?!

How often IN GAME do you EVER see the QBs face, let alone the shadows...?

i like the fact that in the 2011 pic you can see the sun on the helmet but if you look close enough there are no stadium lights on during a day game rendering off the helmet

you mean brought back the graphics...haha.

it took about 4 years but it seems like they brought back the HDR from Madden 07.....they can be faking it...but if they are, they are doing a great job...so it doesn't matter.

but High rez uniforms (look at the Reebok symbol), 3D grass, large player models are still not back..

some feel it was worth it to switch up to get 60fps in 2008 (360version)....I was fine with 30fps with those effects still in the game.

but I'm a graphics whore so I'm very happy that the lighting is one of the first things they brought back...

from a gameplay perspective it could look amazing with the animation and the lighting....they also do a VERY good job in capturing each city/stadium's atmosphere as far as colors...

up close the jerseys will still look blurry but I don't care, again during regular gameplay...where it counts...it could look amazing.

for the first time in a while, I'm looking forward to Madden...graphics wise.

I'm tired of all these minor graphical updates for Madden games, who cares, fix the rest of your broken game.

As for McNabb, he looks a year older, that's it.
