The patch will work with an existing franchise, so go ahead and start it if you want.

When you start up the game and you are connected to PSN, the system will prompt you that there is a new patch available and to download it. The latest one is 1.08.

For some reason I can't get this game to update. I just bought it, had it install the original information from the game disk and then I downloaded 1.08. After downloading and moving onto the installation phase it stops and says "An error occurred during the install operation. (80029564)".

I have deleted everything in the data in regards to the game (there are corrupt files after the failed installs) and I think really the only thing left is to format and start over. Anyone got another idea cuz I'd love that.
