hope i`m mistaken.

DB don`t seem to play very good...
Still can`t wait for this game.
DBs make a lot of plays on the ball. I've seen a lot of interceptions in the gameplay footage. I've also read from a hands-on review that throwing into coverage = an int. much more frequently than 2k and madden.

Passing looks easy when its edited for highlights

I hope they start showing more Sim videos, hate thos "neon lights".

Also it would be great if they show some "franchise/stats/Footabll AI" instead of only the Euphoria engine and Camera. Those two topics were the 90% of the trailers/interviews so far.
I don't care so much about the glowing (on field indicators are a part of the game - from the arrow and the 1 and 2 in TB to the blue circle in Madden and the Yellow star in APF - meh.)

But I do agree to show something else now aside from the tackles/hits and focusing on the camera view and show/talk about those other things you mentioned. Only AI thing I remember is when they had to program not facemasking, which is interesting because it means there could be Euphoria-related situations that can cause penalties. What else is there? How does Euphoria work with the AI engine? When they programmed no face-masks, is it based on rating (i.e. some guys will anyway now and then)?

And I also agree that I wish the players weren't maxed. How does the game play from the other end of the spectrum. How would two weak teams look? How about two average teams? An above average team vs a below average team?

Matchups that are more likely to happen in actual practice, in other words, not just two maxed teams or a maxed team vs an average/bad team for the sake of highlights.

They could be putting together ratings and they started at the top and are working their way down. I don't know.

Didn't read that post-came up with that total speculation on my own. I would like to see a bit more separation in player performance based on ratings then I've seen in past football games.

Yeah Gold silver and bronze are just a way to represent the overall quality of the player after averaging the stats.

WOW!! Just WOW!! I'm late to the party but...........WOW!! The last time I saw backbreaker it didn't look like anything special. Well, it looks very different now. I have just spent the last few hours going through all these BB threads and vids and all I can say is......WOW!!! If the AI is anything comparable to the way the games looks then this is a winner. Hell, even if it's on Madden's level I can deal with it. Some of that stuff was amazing!!! Like a lot of you, I'm anxious to hear about the other aspect of the game ie customization, AI, etc. The game itself looks fantastic though. If it really IS as good as it looks, I hope the word gets around so that sales warrant another edition. I can't believe it. I'm actually excited for football again. WOW!!!

Yeah, I agree with you. It may not be a day one purchase, but right now, it's looking like a definite must buy. Even if it's just a holdover until Madden comes out, I think that'll be fine for me. They would have to royally screw something up with the other aspects of this game for me not to purchase it now.

lol, I was thinking the same thing when I started watching the first dev diary vid. I was like WTF? These guys don't know anything about REAL football lol. Then I started seeing the gameplay vids and was like OMFG lol. I will admit, I think I've watched all of the vids at least 2 times and some of them 3 or 4 times. Yeaaaah boy!! We got us a football game again!!!
