MLB '10: The Show Patch #2 Release Date and Fixes (3-18-10)

Hurricane, Madden had at least two patches that I'm aware of, NBA Live has had at least one as well. Yeah, maybe they don't play up to everybody's expectations, but that's not to say that EASports isn't making the effort, because it seems to me they are more than ever.

On topic, seems like I've waited long enough to go buy MLB. I'll be picking this up tomorrow after work. Played the demo and thought it was great, even if a bit hard at first.

I don't see it mentioned in the fixed list, but has anyone seen a reduction in wild pitches with this latest patch?

I downloaded that patch and a similar glitch still exists. Instead of dropped 3rd strikes I believe it is a ball in the dirt for ball 4. Catcher charged with an error and never throws the ball.[/quote]

I had that happen post patch also.

I think i had that too... just noticed yesterday in a game that my cacther had 2 errors out of nothing....
i didnt evan see it on the ticker.


About the too many wild picthes, the pacth didnt change anything for me, still way too many, gotta bump picther consistency at least to 7(+2)

DL'ed the patch last night and I also experienced the dropped ball 4 in the dirt. Everything else seems pretty nice and easy but the wild pitches still continues for me so I need to go adjust some att's again to make them less prevalent.

I downloaded the update, but now I am unable to start the game.

It freezes after the seisure waring screen, then the mlb the show logo, then blank screen

delete all saves and the game data utility and then re-download the patch.

Downloaded the patch and started a new franchise with the latest roster update. I play with auto fielding-manual throwing. I started a game last night and had to save it mid-way through, when I resumed it today the fielding was on manual. anyone else have this happen?
