Trolling.. pfft. Ive been playing games going back to when Pong was it's own console and you had to use a butterknife to hook up the RF switch and play on Ch. 3.
Not only is there mario running, some of the stuff is so stiff looking..(and I animate). Also the cpu is just standing in place around the 3pt line after the person goes up for an insane dunk. Where's the attempt to hard foul or block by the cpu? It doesn't look smooth as this old clip of Jam, and this is on better hardware, then the old Genesis/Snes days.

That would be a nice touch, but I think from the trailer it won't happen. They'd have to re-license it, unless Midway owns the license.

Still, would love to have that theme in there. The sound effects are certainly different. Guess we won't have that high-pitched beep! when blocking a shot.

give me a break, the new NBA Jam looks true to the old version with a little better graphics and some other stuff like home courts. You're looking too far into or expecting too much from this game. From the trailer we got, this game holds true to the NBA Jame formula and appears to provide an entertaining experience. Its not a NBA 2k game where they need to add so much stuff and get into such great detail, its a game that is supposed to be fun. And in the video you do see guys hard fouling, plus some of the old dunks. This is a short trailer of the game.

I wish this were for the PS3 because i'd consider getting it because it seems like a fun game. Those bashing it are looking too hard into it and are way too critical of a game that is supposed to be fun and not taken too seriously. You guys are analyzing this game as if its a NBA 2k, NBA Live, Madden, MLB the Show sim type game when this is just a fun arcade game that they're bringing back with some updated flair.

i think they only modeled the bodies and not the heads...which works IMO...i just wish they added the camera flashes in the background...i wonder if they added more players to choose from instead of 4

I was looking forward to this, until I saw this video. Still hope it comes to PSN/Live, but honestly wouldn't bother me if it didn't.
