Re: "A New Game Plan" - New Blog

When I heard Ian give the "Mission statement" for Madden 10 and beyond. I said I will enjoy M10 and I did. I would come here waiting for NCAA to give us there "Mission statement" and we never got one. I knew NCAA 10 wouldnt be good and for me it was subpar.

You have to have a direction and/or vision that everybody is working towards. With NCAA this generation it just seemed like the game was having an identity crisis. Glad somebody finally stepped up and express they have a common goal and what that goal is.

HELL....YEAH!!! This is just what I wanted to hear about NCAA11.

I also love the fact that the in-game photo wasn't "-shopped". Love it.
You can tell that photo wasnt shopped. It looks like just like the game play last year.

Man, J, that blog got me pumped. Did that sound like a breath of fresh air or what? I love what I hear from this guy. He mentioned that he's fixing gameplay as well as visuals.

The part about him being a Michigan fan and wanting each team to play like themselves was really good. It sounds like he gets it. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that he's gonna include TEAM ENTRANCES. It just sounds like he wouldn't have it any other way.

Check out the crowd texture in this video from EA fifa world cup. I know this is ncaa forum but can you imagine if ncaa and madden had crowds like that. and talk about momentum and foot planting. that shows me under the current engine that EA has is capable

The blog was great! I can't wait to hear about these gameplay and presentation improvements.

That was a great blog imo. I'm very excited for whats to come in this series. It seems like they have the right mindset going forward.
