Re: Chris' MLB 2K10 Review

I wish gaming sites would just do away with the number system altogether.

They should have four categories...a must own, favorable, unfavorable, and unsastifactory.

So you're just replacing the numbers with words?

If that's how you want to look at it....yes. Numbers leave too much interpretation. Is a 3/5 really a 60/100? What does 3/5 even mean?

That's why I hate sports game reviews. The reviewers tell people to read the content of reviews....but then splash up the huge number at the top of it. It would do OS some good to get away from that.

Wow. A 60%? lol I love The Show just about as much as anybody, but with the turn-around that 2K made and the effort they put in the game, it definitely deserves a 4 out of 5.

You can't equate a 5 star rating scale to numbers...so 3 stars is not 60%.

I never really got why people always thought 60% was bad anyways, except they made game grades to be like school grades, so anything less than 60 is failing...but that's another story for another day

3-Stars is a middle of the road type of game, it's neither great nor is it bad. Never known why the 5 star concept was THAT hard to grasp.

Well, it's simple math. lol I get the non-math concept, but I look at it both ways. That being said, maybe 2K could of gotten a 3.5 stars from you.

Re: Chris' MLB 2K10 Review

simple math would also dictate his 3 outta 5 stars says the game is above average though because average would be 2.5 stars.
