No we can't do that it would break the system. This is why Kolbe and Jeff haven't given users the ability to do this yet. The way the game works is there are only so many A potential guys, B potential, etc......

How do you think they get the ratings in the first place? They use the stats. In my perfect world, there would be no potential rating for players that have at least three years in the majors. By then you should already know what their potential is. They should use the three years of weighted stats just like they do to create the players in the first place, with an obvious decline starting sometime after 30. I really don't think it is putting the cart before the horse to use the exact same methodology that the developers use.
