Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (360)

I lost 5-3 in the first game (just got the demo last night). Francisco, Utley and Ibanez all took me yard. I made it interesting in the bottom of the third with solo home runs by Granderson and Tex, but giving up four first inning runs was just too much.

I'm liking the demo, but it does play too fast when a ball is hit in the infield... I wish they would slow it down quite a bit because it just doesn't feel right. I also wish there were more natural movements in the outfield, but overall, the game looks and plays pretty dang good.

Jaggies are not always due to the game or game system. You television itself and its processing of signals is can be entirely the cause of those nasty jagggies. The reasons are fairly complex but you can scour avsforums if you need to know more
Well, I actually don't see jaggies, it was just an example, lol. My VIZIO is as finely tuned as a TV can get

Sweet that is all matters. I am just liking only timing hitting.

It may just be my imagination but when I used the Classic style for hitting, I see a greater variety of hits than when I use the R-stick. I like both setups, though.

It was nice to see a walk-off celebration after winning with a Swisher home run in the third inning of a game.

I enjoyed the demo, it was nice to see some things squared around finally.

HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS???

I was playing the demo as the Phillies, I hit a grounder to short and Jeter went to play the ball to his right. The camera suddenly went behind Jeter's throwing shoulder as he gathered and threw, and then the camera switched over to Texeira at first and showed the bang-bang play in slow motion. It was sooo cool! But it's only happened once. I'm hoping it happens not all the time but occasionally in the final product.
