Re: to those in need of gameplay vids... LOOK HERE!

things I noticed different in these video clips:

*lighting
*pickoff system
*defensive presentation
*friction of the ball bouncing off the wall
*broadcast cam
*ticker at the top of the screen

I'm surprised the guy that put these vids together had RTP turned off. You'd think he would leave that on to show it off a bit.

not me. it was fine in 09 and 08. There was no reason to change this. This totally ruins playing from behind the pitcher camera for me. Just like it did in ASB

Actually that aspect of the game looks slightly better to me than last years.

What I did to fix it in 09 was go to Audio/Video, and increase the vertical length of the screen display by about 7 or 8 clicks. One of the best things I ever did in the game.

Suddenly all the figures looked more human (taller, more proportional shoulders) and it didn't mess up my hitting at all, in fact it helped my hitting, probably because the ball appears ever so slightly larger this way so I can see it better.

I'm not bothered by the 2-hop throw from the right-center field wall to third base. What bothers me about that is the right fielder CASUALLY throws it like that. He doesn't step into his throw, he just soft tosses it. A 2-hop throw to third base from the right field wall should not be thrown soft toss, I don't care if you're Vlad Guerrero, you gotta get some body weight behind a throw like that.

i mentioned this earlier in the thread but nobody seemed to respond. in the HR derby clip after Tex hits his first hr they show the other players watching. is it just me or do i see number 44 jason bay there wearing an american league uniform?

these vids are good and get me excited but the person playing in these clips can't play very well at all and dunno why he has the rtp disabled and dunno why he dpesnt disable all tips. those keep popping onto the screen so annoying

If you read closely the graphic that popped up was called "Swing Track". I believe the circle on the graphic represented where Guzman was swinging, not where the pitch was located.
