And did you tone down the number of injuries from MLB 2k9? At least give us a slider this time? Seriously, at one point halfway through a season, I had 4 starting pitchers on the DL at the same time.

By any chance were you playing the Mets?

Seriously, it does happen. Look at my Mets last year, the whole team was basically injured.

Yeah, your Mets had some bad luck, for sure. But this game was ridiculous...I also had 2 or 3 of my infielders out at the same time, AND I would have had ADDITIONAL pitchers out had I not rebooted the game a few times to prevent it from happening. A simple injury slider would have gone a long ways to fix things.

Same here... but why not both? Why is it a "one or the other" deal?

I'm not sure I'm following you.

Yeah, for whatever reason, getting guys with current hats is not as easy as you would think. I remember getting baseball cards with players with the wrong hats. Topps went so far as to paint the photos of players.

It's just something someone would have to keep up with. So they would be paying a guy to do that, and I'm sure the product manager has a budget and is always looking for places he can cut. There is no way that that kind of stuff drives sales, so it is always the first to go. That and the improved bat sounds, I guess.

Dumb question If it's already been answered I missed it.

On the controller layout screen of the demo, the left stick is mapped to "aim hit".

Is this similar to last year, when pushing right on the right stick will attempt to hit the ball to right field? Or is it simply for influencing grounders or fly balls? Or is it an error (I've heard that hitting is strictly timing based, so maybe a misprint in the display)?
