That was probably their point to not letting you change the sliders in last year's demo.. I agree with you though.

I hear you but they also just end up annoying people and making people not even want to try their games. If they listened and were smart and made great games, and gave people what they want, people would love them and they'd sell lots and lots of games. So it's kind of their own fault. They release buggy games. They release a demo so you can't adjust the difficulty level. It's kind of their own fault. No conspiracy. It's just kind of obvious and stupid on their part.

Looking at the 2K facebook page it looks as if they said they submitted the demo to Sony in time but they failed to approve it before the release date. I think most people want to see the demo on PS3 just to see how "bad" the game is anyway rather than checking for improvements.

I think 95% of PS3 owners have decided what baseball game they are going to purchase if they play baseball games.

I always thought it was strange that PS3 users would want both 2k and The Show.

If you love baseball why wouldn't you want to try both? I have both paid for in full.

2K does things right in their game and have another certain level of intuitiveness that I don't ever see in other games. It's one of those things where, no matter how many Madden iterations are out there and they improve what they have, I won't have fun playing their game. It's just something about the way that their engine is built or something of another. Likewise, 2K always creates this "2K world" where things pan out in a very fun manner as long as they work correctly.

Sure, they are lacking in details and authenticity for the most part, but Visual Concepts has finally been hired after me asking for this for eight years, and I think they are going to create something that's just plain fun. As long as it works and as long as nobody has won the $1 million yet, I'll still be very intrigued to play it.
