Ah! I forgot about the expansion mode in ASB. I loved that mode. I think my te was the Alasla Midnight. We played in the stadium with the short high right field. Definately would include that.

Re: The Ultimate Baseball Game

i think stat keeping should come from the High Heat Series. They had tons of odd stats to look at. For PC that is

Glad to see power pros get the love it deserves. That game still has me hooked even more than the show. I try to get people to play it but they look at the box and say no way! It's a shame.

Re: The Ultimate Baseball Game

I basically want MVP 05 with MLB 2K7's player models /face graphics, and The Show's framerate and stadiums/collision detection.

Re: The Ultimate Baseball Game

The only thing I would want added to this game to make it perfect is what I posted as a new thread a couple months ago:

"What would really put this game over the top for me (other than the inclusion of many more stats, all accessible with the push of a few buttons) is if the game gave more personality to each player. As it is, the players all feel different just because of different stats and looks etc., but after a while, you don't really feel like you're fully controlling the real deal. How cool would it be if in the edit page, you can assign a personality type to a player. It could be based on 1 to 5 stars (1 star for calm, 5 stars for fiery). For example, for Manny Ramirez, Papelbon, Lackey or Chamberlain you would assign 5 stars; for J.D. Drew, you would assign 1 star. So then the way it could play out in the game is if Papelbon blows a 3 run lead, then in a cut scene in the dugout shortly thereafter, you could control how he reacts. Instead of getting out your rage in real life by throwing your (overly-priced) remote control across the room, you could take out your irritation in the game. Maybe some buttons could have Papelbon just kick the bench, some may make him knock over the water cooler, some can make him throw a temper tantrum and exit into the clubhouse. This would be so freakin cool. Another way this feature could play out is if a batter gets hit. Obviously there should be a way to control if he wants to charge the mound. But there should be consequences so that you don't do it everytime you get beaned. There should be appropriate ejections, suspensions, possible injuries, and fines. But it should only be able to be committed by players who have 3 stars and up for their personality attribute. And with some buttons, there should be different levels of charging the mound. Obviously there shouldnt be fighting like hockey, but just similar to what they have now, just with more control and repercussions. Also, it should have an effect on the game. For example, if your team is just not hitting at all in the game, maybe charging the mound will spark some energy in the offense or take away some confidence in the opposing pitcher. Anyways, I really hope that they can institute these features in a future year. It would really make this game all the more addictive. Thoughts?"

Re: The Ultimate Baseball Game

i cant say what id take from any certain game or whatever except for a couple things that really wowed me in games.. and tehy are...

1. the complete customization of unis in front page sports baseball pro series.

2. the daily home run tracker from all star baseball 05

3. weekly hot and cold lists from all star baseball 05

4. future stadiums from all star baseball 2005

5. expansion from all star baseball 2005

6. customizable leagues from baseball pro series so you could align each div or league how ever you felt you needed to do it.

7. commentary hs to be from 2k9 due to the close to real life style of it and not being as canned as most can be.

i think that is it... for me at least...
