I have enjoyed a lot of baseball games but one of things that impressed me with the MVP series (mostly MVP NCAA) was their strides towards innovation. Especially developing a system that was aimed at mimicking some of the specific steps of the actual function e.g. hitting, and pitching.

Even choices to replace the stadium ads via uploading photos to the game.

Would I be correct in saying that I'm the only one who really really disliked the commentary and cutscenes in the show? I mean i love the gameplay but it gets old real quick. The commentary I just can't get into it. Doesn't seem to flow naturally. Although the play by play is good just repetative.

The Show with OOTP 10's sim engine and attention to eveything in baseball would be the ultimate. More easily attained as well. Just adding OOTP's engine to this game would be much easier than combining 4 or 5 games.

It could only improve The Show and I doubt that Markus and OOTP would lose much in sales as OOTP's followers are loyal, plus OOTP would still have advantages such as customization, relatively quick games and historical leagues.

What a great game that would be.......

Yea Zukes, that would be amazing, bringing the best of both worlds in simulation and customization. I have been loyal to both games and would enjoy that type of merger if it is even possible. At least, it would be more of Markus giving ootp engine over, as OOTP is only text based. Not sure how it would work in the end, but any idea to bring the two leaders in the same genre today sounds like a winner for all involved.
