The pitching mechanic is beautifully implemented this year, and batting is amazing (although I only get two to three at bats a game). keep in mind game informer gave 2k9 a 7.25 which was one of the better reviews. The way he sounds though this game might get a pretty high score from them though. I'm guessing this game gets similar reviews to what Live 10 got this year. Pretty solid reviews across the board. It was a good game but it also wasn't. The AI problems he's talking about just seems like the tip of the iceberg.

I agree. I like the way this game is shaping up. So far, I can see my summer being a blur with MLB 10 The Show and MLB 2k10 taking up all my time

He's been cleared to post about franchise mode. He's going to start that tomorrow, this is good news for me because I'm much more interested in what franchise mode has to offer(and see if there's any major bugs like last year).

Yeah, me also....Now he get to play with the pros instead of AA teams. Hope they play smarter.
