But the picture shows the red helmet being worn with the white uniform, which really looks odd. That's the issue we're trying to get to the bottom of here. There's also another picture with them wearing blue hats with the white uniform. I certainly hope the regular home uniform in the game doesn't feature blue hats and red helmets. Hopefully it's just an alternate.

There has been a rumor that the team wants to go to the red helmets with the white jerseys. They did that during the opening series last year against the Indians, but never went back. It gets an "ehh" from me.

I didnt think it was possible, but this game is looking better and better with each passing day. Screenshots look amazing and love the attention to detail!!!

I really don't want to burst anyone's bubble here, but this is something I've posted about regarding the Mets many different times.

The helmets the Mets wear on the road in the game were reversed incorrectly (all black with gray unis and black/blue with black unis) in '09 and an early screen shot of David Wright from '10 had the same issue.

Should be the other way around...so what you're seeing may be what you are getting. Hopefully I'm wrong...but I doubt it.

I've been searching for pics of the Rangers during the 2009 season, and I've found some with red caps/helmets with the white home jerseys against Baltimore during their second homestand and against New York in May when all teams wore those red welcome back veterans caps.

there were a few games early in the season last year when the Rangers wore the red helments with the white home uni's...However the blue helment/hats has been the primary for the white home uni's.. The Rangers ended up wearing the red unis a few more times than they were supposed to. With those screen shots, it appears that the red helmets with be used at home and blue on the road. It is strange though that the in the Hamilton and Chris Davis pics that have been shown, that the Rangers are wearing blue hats. I hope they arent set up to were they are wearing red helmets and blue hats in the field
