i'd probably rent it first. Definately looks improved, but there are some factors that make me not expect miracles overnight. 2k9 had some positives but was just downright broken and not finished. They are also going up against the show and mlb isnt really 2k's money maker. I do think they are quietly hard at work trying to get the game back on track though. I think it will be a good game. Not great but good.

If it is anything like 2k7 it's a purchase. Anything like the the rest it's a pass. It looks promising but then again, so did last year and that was a dud. I love the trailers so far though so I'm optimistic
