As was the case as last year, the players still stand too close to the plate while in the batters box. I was hoping they'd fix that.

Just when I become lax for a day, you men and women over at SCEA San Diego, never cease to amaze me.

The uniform textures are phenomenal, and a major difference can be seen. The lighting is gorgeous.

Keep up the good work, and thanks. It will be upon us soon.

I did not notice what you said, but maybe eventually we could have the control to move our batter around in the box. This could effect plate coverage as far as reaching the outside edge or getting jammed. Also, don't think its currently in, but manually switching the side switch hitters hit from during the game.

Yeah, the players are definitely too close to the plate, and it does affect your hitting when you get inside pitches.

If you noticed last year, there are some batting stances where the batters foot is on the batters box line (next to home plate) which is illegal.

rule 6.03:

The batter’s legal position shall be with both feet within the batter’s box.
APPROVED RULING: The lines defining the box are within the batter’s box.

So um, just a question:

Am I reading that the wall is only 328 feet away in right center field?

What are the ground rules? I'm assuming it's because the wall is pretty high there.
