I don't understand why scea wouldn't just include the stadiums first hand. Best buy is 45 minutes away; the gamestop here is full of pathetic workers who don't consider the customer as their first priority, as also it is the worst store you can possibly walk into with all the little brats begging their moms to buy every game in the store. I love to get my games from target, as I actually feel decent giving my 60 dollars towards their efforts. I would get it from Amazon, yet the chance of me receiving it March 2 is nearly impossible with the shipping. I really hate this new approach with these "pre-order deals", scea should know by now the game is so good people like me will buy a ps3 JUST for the show. I can see "the other game" being desperate to try to draw in more purchases, but cmon scea, the integrity of the company shouldn't have to look at this direction...

I'm not so sure about that...the voucher contains a code that you enter into the PSN store. You have to be online to get to the store.

I've done a bunch of these pre-order and beta downloads and they're all the same.

And just for reference, that isn't CPE info - just general knowledge of the PSN.

They wont get rid of this..DLC for these games because in way they want to condition you to use the DLC feature..thats not a knock on the marketing team..its actually smart...but if they only gave DLC to lesser games we'd tag DLC as a lesser valued thing and not use it..as well..they dont know or care(and rightly so) how far the stores are..what kind of people are in them...not everyone has the same experience as you so why would they taylor it to your circumstance? People need to be a little more logical and less greedy and demanding..its called the real world and a lot of the complaints sounds like the same kids you complain are in the store...I'm from Canada and Im not that worried about it..I will get them somehow and enjoy them. But to constantly write SCEA is ripping us off and not caring is ridiculous and this tread is going way down hill. I dont mean to insult anyone in particular just hate seeing the way people behave because they "WANT" everything..

Re: Pre-Order MLB 10: The Show and Get Free Classic Stadiums (Playstation.Blog)

You read my mind, Knight. I was thinking yesterday about the possibility to do this with a classic season. This along with the new (or maybe I should say "old") stadiums is going to be great. I'm going to be anxiously waiting for this year's classic rosters once again!

Edit: Knight, are you going to do multiple single seasons or will you do one single season and then one similar to last year's? If you do multiple single seasons, how about a year that would be in the period of the classic stadiums we'll have? That would be sweet! (I don't want to derail this thread, so feel free to PM me if you don't want to clutter the board with your reply.)

I doubt it, I would guess no more than $5-$10.

It is just for an unlock key code (1-200KB in size) to get the stadiums right away. EA/2K has been doing this with their games for a while now, and they were not insanely priced.

Thanks for clarifying that Knight. Not quite so bad then, i'll just wait for dlc and pay my $2.

By the way with all these great stadiums, i'm casting my vote for Knight and co. to start us off with a classic set first followed by majors and minors. No pressure, eh.
