2K8's camera makes sense:

Aside from the score overlay being too low (and disappearing after the ball was put in play), the stationed position made sense. Sure, we could maybe lower the angle if we wanted or control the depth of field, but why on earth would we have a camera where so much of the dirt behind home plate and the batter's feet is shown, and yet some actual relevant information is getting cut off the top and behind the score overlay in 2K10?

I mean obviously I'm complaining to complain right now. If we can adjust camera settings to eliminate the battiness on the developers' end, I'm sure that will be fine. But on the other hand, it makes me wonder what the fielding cam is like, or if they've improved the pitching cam options, or if the demo will turn me off because I can't change the options, etc. It's more of a question of... why? I hope that makes sense.
Yes, I love the 2k8 cam.

I hope 2k has the offset angle view the show has as it adds depth almost a 3d effect not so flat .
I love the Posada Screen great detail and Theriot glove looks good not plastic , so why do some look good and others misproportioned ?
My fears and I base this from the last 2 years the screens with tilted angles never look like in game or on my ps3 , same thing with frame rate.

The batter's camera is unplayable for me as it is, it wastes a lot of space and takes you far away from the action, I loved that 2k8 camera angle, customization is a must.

The strike zone is obtrusive to say the least, however I think it's gonna disappear just before the ball is put in play.

The score overlay seems so bad aesthetically, that worst could not be, it doesn't even remotely resembles a true broadcast overlay, however it's not big deal as long as gameplay is solid, we'll see.

A little concern over the flat crowd, but it's only a picture.....

The worst part about the camera last year was that you couldn't save it. I could tweak it to exactly what I wanted, but had to do so every time I turned on the system to play a game.

Thumbs up Re: Major League Baseball 2K10 New Screenshots (1-25-10)

I wish season batting stats were always in the HUD. Not situational stats. In 2K9 you had to pause the game and go through a maze of menus to find out how many RBIs your guy had for that year.

What is it supposed to look like, a Ford F-150?

I'm very pleased with what I see, especially that pic at the plate. I think this game is going to be very fun.
