I won't be downloading the 2nd patch. The games plays great for me now, and if it's not broke don't fix it.

My Player is almost unplayable because of the substitution logic. This is what just happened to me:

My Cavs decide to run this lineup in the 3rd quarter of a close game against Magic:

PG - Mo Williams
SG - West
SF - Parker
PF - My 6'6'' SF
C - Lebron

Magic has both Howard and Gortat on court, we got absolutely no boards and can't run the fast break with no defensive rebounding. Disaster.

Later in the 4th when we're already down by 15 the "savior" lineup is following:

PG - My 6'6'' SF
SG - Powe
SF - Varejao
PF - Ilgauskas
C - Shaq

Combine that lineup with the 3 point shooting glitch and you will fall into deep depression.

That sucks. Reminds me of my PG that was with Washington. Whenever we went extremely small like that, I'd call isolation plays for my PF's and C's, and we'd score on the mismatch. You can cause TO's with ball pressure and keep things close. Go into your coach menu, assign one of the "1-4 High" isolation plays to your PF and C, and run it as soon as you have a mismatch. With Lebron running it, you should get a bucket every time either on the drive or the pass.

Illustrator, Ronyell and everyone else, thanks for the impressions. i think you guys saved me a headache by recommending I ignore this patch.

To me the game plays just as good after patch 2 as it did after patch 1. It's a bit different as far as defense and FG percentages. Have not seen any crazy 3's by bigmen. I do however have the roles and chem turned off. After a couple of tweeks to Pared's sliders, I am getting realistic stats for me and the cpu.

you can turn chemistry on too and you'll still fix the 3 pt problem.
