There's something you guys are missing. My feeling regarding home runs in '09 is that it's just anti-climatic. Let's suppose they can find a camera angle this year in Home Run Derby that really makes you stand up and say "YES!!!" when a home run is hit. Correct me if I'm wrong but can't this also be used in the main game as well? A custom cam that comes up when a dinger is hit would really add some pop to the game. Home runs are what it's all about, the greatest moment in baseball so I say spend a little time on this and get it right.
I agree with you 100% on having a camera to follow the balls flight and show the detail of where it lands. I remember playing Tommy Lasorda Baseball in the 90"s and loving it when my player would hit a homerun into the parking lot full of cars. We need this in today's game. We should start a thread specifically stating this on the main page so SCEA can take notice. I want to see my homeruns land in Mcovey Cove and the water splash when it lands. Now if that isn't a gratifying hit I don't know what is. Anything that adds excitement to the game is a very good thing.

I live here in Vegas. I had plans to try and attend CES. Then I heard our local news say, "This event is NOT open to the public".....

(Wonders how DMB got in?)

kidding.......

so you felt that homeruns in '09 were anti-climatic and in an effort to fix that problem, you want a special homerun camera to take effect when a homerun is hit?

And watch all the little boats go after the ball? Now that would be amazing!

Just a word of advice. Be VERY careful if you look up that term on the web, and you should probably not do that at work.

The better question is why were you doing that?
