So again this year, there is going to be virtually no control with our throws? The meter is pointless again?

Again, thanks dmb for posting your experience...it's much appreciated.

You have no idea how happy I am to hear the quick pitching is out. So many people do this online either to keep you from getting leads, putting in a pinch hitter, or just to throw off your rhythm. I was going to suggest they put in balks, but whatever works is music to my ears!

You and Me both man and the rest of us online gamers. Russell hinted balks might be implemented for next year.

When hitting pause you can observe each pitch and it will tell you near or very near or not.
I have to admit this worries me slightly. If hitting your mark gives you a pitch that is spot on most the time,I can see this being a issue. One of the things that 2K baseball does terribly wrong is the ability to pinpoint your pitches consistently. It's a big part of the game, and as it is I don't walk batters nearly enough.

But...I'm going to go with my gut on this and convince myself that The Show team would do this correctly. Can you talk about this a bit more DMB?

That's also good news then. It a player doesn't let the pitcher come to his set, then gimme a free base.

Only one video has loaded up so far, and when I click on it, YouTube loads up and says an error has occurred...

Do we need to just keep waiting, or is it really just not working?
