Oh..well...its right now an isolated incident. I didn't have issues with getting extra base hits last year, nor did the cpu so I'm not worried right now.

I guess the balance of batted ball vs. fielder/runner speed is what I saw last year. For example, there would be instances when I would hit a line drive to LF and the baserunner would run to 1B like he was beating out a groundball and peel off 1B rather than making a turn to 2B.

No, they didn't have 2 tone bats. They just had standard Red, Black, Pine, and I want to say blue but I am not sure about that. All were solid colors.
