Sweet... I think.

What are the "consequences" of auto throwing? Is it just the throwing power that's automated or does the AI throw for me automatically? And if it's just the throwing power, does the AI pick appropriate throwing power?

I wish they would have an option similar to throwing passes in Madden where I control the power but don't have to concentrate on a meter.

I feel like I'm one of the few that are distracted by meters. I'd rather watch the action.

Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet

Maybe someone can answer this for me. I was just on Amazon and looking up The Show and they list the shipping date as March 31st. I thought the game was released weeks before then.

Amazon almost always, at least in my experience, will use the last available day of the month a game is supposed to be released. They may not know the game is released on the 2nd/3rd yet, or SCEA may not have yet announced an actual release date.

This would be a welcomed addition.
I agree 100% This would add to the real feeling of connecting with one!

In all the time I was playing ball I don't ever remember following the shadow of the ball I hit as it cleared the fence.

I would love to see this in 10...

Hugh Laurie approves this post.

Yes, I want to get some video and show examples of how this will hopefully result in some good looking footage to show to others.

Hopefully presentation-wise we can turn off a bunch of aids again this year (including the throwing meter), because I want to make this look as much like a live broadcast as possible. I remember in ESPN MLB 2K5 we could turn off the cursor under our player... now that was awesome! It really made it look nice, because the less video game stuff, the more real it looks.

Re: MLB '10: The Show Fact Sheet

According to Pasta Padre's info there will be less pitches to choose from this year. RIP...

Curveball (re-named 10-4 curve)
Sweeping Curveball
Running Fastball
Vulcan Change
Euphus

Bummer they would take these pitches away. I like to create junkball pitchers and the more options the better.
