I really like them too Johnny.

I also like them better than the Wilds normal home sweaters.

Usually, I'm pretty much a traditionalist. But I have to admit...the thirds look great.

It is a very classy looking jersey.

This game really needs a jersey creator much like NCAA has where you can do it all online!

I Love The Green too!

You can always just load your profile (settings) when the game starts if you dont want to use autosave. I had to enter the code 3 times.

I think a lot of people will prefer them to the Xmas jersies, but they are just a little bit bland to become the everyday jersey. I've seen them on TV and in live game action at the X. They're definately better for television than the old (green) home jersey, but other than the attractive embroidery on the front there's not much to them.

They're basically an exact copy of the Western Conference All-Star jersey from 2004 (which was at the Xcel Center).

Is it me or has this game gotten boring real fast this year?
It's not just you, and yes, this is a Red Wings fan agreeing with a Penguins lover. Haha.

It's the same formula over and over and over again. Playing FIFA 10 (which is my sports title of the year, BTW) made me realize just how unique each individual player is in that game, and how incredibly similar every player in NHL is. Not just similar in the sense that they're all rated 70-100 OVR, but that there aren't enough ratings that actually mean something in gameplay.

In a basketball game (like 2k10), the players ratings are going to give me a sense of my ability to maneuver with the ball, my range in shooting, and the types of finishes I'll use at the net. In soccer (like FIFA 10), there's not only speed, shooting, and dribbling ability, but accuracy on different types of passes (like throughs and crosses), balance, strength, ability in the air, and how these all interact with one another when taking a particular action.

In NHL 10, the better players are a little bit faster than the crappier players, shoot a little harder, and miss the net less frequently. That's about it. In fact, take Sidney Crosby towards the end of a shift in NHL 10, and he plays almost exactly the same as somebody like Kris Draper would at the beginning of a shift. There's no special abilities, difference in shot release, or significant difference anywhere else that explains why one is a Hart candidate, and the other is an aging role player.

Great Post!
Ive always thought this way. It bothers me that they dont have at least some different shot release for diff types of players. movements in general are just so similar(spin moves, dekes, wrist shots).
