True. I was talking more of people that like to sim most of their games, then yeah it would be basically pointless for them to have the patch if all they do is play Franchise.

Trust me, I'm as big of a Franchise guy as you guys are and I'm tired of sports games always focusing on online and other features (that's for another thread though) but I guess I've just gotten so used to things being broken that I'm used to it now.

I dont exactly have the patch(or the game for that matter) yet, but in all honestly, are the stats unbearable? I know they are bad, but does it make it impossible to play franchise and really enjoy it? All I do is play franchise, but I play all of my teams games, except maybe pre-season every once awhile. So gameplay is important to me, but franchise longevity and stats are just as important. But if they are bad, I can tolerate it, but if its unbearably unrealistic, then IDK...

Check my post in the 2nd or 3rd page. Most of the issues with stats were fixed like RB TDs, CB tackles, 3-4 OLB sacks but now that's lead to at least 1 2,000 yard rusher every year, really high YPC averages and at least 1 player with 20 sacks every year.

Me personally, I'm still going to play Franchise but it does suck that some of these things got ridiculously inflated. I guess it's really a give or take kind of thing. To get all of those other issues fixed, we have to give up some other stats being broken.

The whole stat fiasco is a bummer for sure. Wish they would have just left it alone.

It makes it unberable for me. For those who don't seem to understand why stats are such a big deal, the answer, and I'm sure I speak for you as well, is that for us, the fun is in simulating a real NFL season, so that the results are true to life and could be a real season/course of seasons. If that doesn't happen, I become bored and lose interest.

I used to be the same way about 10 yrs ago. Our three kids are older and I barely have time to play a season out anymore before it's on to some other sports game.

I just don't have the time to get bugged about it, anymore.

It's different for everyone.

10 years ago ..it wasn't a problem.

Amazing how technology has pushed backwards instead of forwards.

10 yrs ago there weren't patches to fix crappy game play and lousy stats. It was just plug in and play and have fun.

I'm starting to really take in the have fun part, again. I just can't worry like I used to where is the next stat coming from and how far off is it from the NFL avg. I just don't have the time or the patience as I did 10 yrs ago.
