I'd just like to know whether anyone else has had this problem. By the way, I am continuing a franchise that I started before the patch.
What the heck?

Wow, haven't seen that either and I have three franchises I'm continuing from pre-patch 2.

Yea I see it happen, its sucks watching kickers and punters effectively blocking DT's. They need to fix CPU depth charts for these things, it was in past Maddens too.

Re: Madden NFL 10 Patch #2 Available, Impressions Here (PS3)

Fianlly downloaded the patch. Played the last game of my niners franchise in year one. The patch definately smoothed the gameplay out. I think the game is a little faster on slow speed, not sure if it feels that way because animations are smoother.

You can definately tell a difference on defense, especially cover 2, which I play a ton of. I think the edge gets sealed better on runs, this helps the computer run game.

The only problem I have deals with box scores of played franchise games, they seem to be wrong alot, with scores mainly. Not sure if this is a big problem with other people but I am seeing it.

Kudos to the Madden team for making huge strides this year. This is the most I have played Madden in 3 or 4 years and i am still enjoying it. Thanks guys, my $60 was a good investment.

Easy fix would be turn sim injuries off(i turned my off for preseason) and maybe turn it back on l8r in the season.

Heyward-Bey tried one along the sideline, had it, got hit, but lost the ball as he hit the ground.

Also the game before that Brandon Marshall made at least 3 reaching up/jumping catches in the game against him and was generally annoying.

Other times recievers go up for the ball and get hit and can't hold on.

These are all the AI controlled WR. I didn't switch to the receiver.

I'm not sure what's triggering this more often, but it seems to be happening more than I ever remember it happening before patch 2.
Yes, I've seen the Cpu A.I. catch a few, I've caught a few, and also seen some drops as well. So I would say, yes the Jump ball is improved now. Another ex. of how they improve things w/o mentioning them.

Well, the roof never closed like all the other retractable roofs in the game.

I'd play in inclement weather late in the year in Dallas. Jerry Jones would never let a drop of rain touch that video board.

Yet I played against the Eagles in a monsoon.
