I know people have been having issues with the lack of 3's there seeing but I have not been seeing this quite as much as the rest. I also have notice playing loose on perimeter guys tends to get more 3's jack up.

Played my first game. UMKC beat me at home, I was Oregon. Definitely a fun game, I used Authentic's sliders. I like the gameplay but I have some getting used to from last years game controls and feel

Hey Travis, if you could, please do me a favor for your next 5 games. Post the teams you're playing against, the number of minutes per half, the number FGA by the cpu, the number of 3PTA by the cpu and the number of FTA by the cpu. If you could do this for each game played. I would greatly appreciate it.

Enjoying playing the game since owning for 3 days however, I do hope EA addresses that EA addresses the freezing issues quickly with a patch. I have encountered several times in play now, tournament, and dynasty games.

Ever since I saw those presentation videos I REALLY wanted this game to be good, maybe even more than Madden. I knew it wouldn't be perfect but as long there was no "gamebreakers" it would be a guaranteed buy. After enjoying the demo (presentation gave me a semi ) I held off initially due to the lacklustre reviews and the 3pt/post issues but couldn't shake the extreme desire I have for this game. A lot of it due to the positivity on here and talk of it being as good as CH 2K8. The no patch news has dented this, but it's still there........ bad.

So my question is this. Just how bad is the not passing out of the post? It's the one thing that's making me hold out. Everything else I know I can live with.
From a lot of time with the demo the AI seems to drive down and pass once into the post followed by a quick shot by the player in the post on probably 60% of possessions. I've actually seen quite a few 3's (granted not enough) but was just wondering if this similar in the full game with other teams. Is it better/worse on different difficulties? It seems sliders don't help (really can't face editing every players ratings). Probably most importantly, is it something you can overlook as the rest of the game makes up for it.......... mostly? From reading the thread I would say it's 50/50 for guys with the game at the minute.

Did I say how much I REALLY want this game, but the post issue concerns me enough to hold out. I'm also really enjoying CH 2K8 a lot again after it sitting on the shelf for a few months, so my desperation has lessened a bit.

It's just that damn presentation....................

Any advice appreciated.

Just my opinion, if you are on 360 I would avoid it because of the freezing issues. On PS3 it's great. In the demo the reason you don't see as many post shots is because Duke and UNC both are set to up tempo and have some high rated 3 point shooters. Where the post issue seems to come into play more is the mid majors and lesser known teams. They play balanced or half court tempo and they don't have enough high rated 3 point shooters to take many. I think you will need to tweak some ratings and sliders if you really want it to play more realistic. That can be done. Even without doing that, I think it's one of the more enjoyable games I've ever played, but I love college hoops.
